Hexagon to buy NovAtel

Hexagon AB, Sweden, and NovAtel Inc., Canada, have entered into a definitive agreement under which Hexagon has agreed to acquire all the outstanding shares of NovAtel for US$50 per share.

Intelsat buys 10 Thor transponders

Update: Ariane 5GS launches Intelsat 11, Optus D2

Arianespace on 5 October, 2202 UTC successfully orbited two communications satellites: Intelsat 11 for the international operator Intelsat, and Optus D2 for the Australian operator Optus. Both satellites were built by Orbital Sciences Corporation.
