GeoEye, Inc. said it was restating its financial statements for the years 2005, 2006 and 2007 as well as the first quarter 2008. The company also reported results for the second quarter 2008.

AsiaSat 5 completes reference performance testing

AsiaSat 5 recently successfully completed reference performance testing of the payload and bus subsystems. The spacecraft has been undergoing thermal vacuum testing for a month, and is in the process of completing the last thermal vacuum testing.

Inmarsat 4-F3 pre-launch details

Ariane 5 launches satellites for Japan, USA

Rocket: Ariane 5ECA; Payload: AMC 21, Superbird 7; Date: 14. August 2008, 2044 UTC; Site: Kourou, French Guiana. The two satellites were successfully placed in geostationary transfer orbit.
