Delay of the day: TacSat-3

Previously scheduled to launch aboard a Minotaur I SLV from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in October 2008, TacSat-3’s lift-off is now scheduled for January 2009.

Telesat to control MSV’s new satellites

Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) announced that both it and its joint venture partner Mobile Satellite Ventures (Canada) Inc. have selected Telesat to manage in-orbit operations of both the MSV-1 and MSV-2 next-generation satellites to be launched into respective U.S. and Canadian orbital slots.

Lockheed Martin-led team completes GPS III Integrated Baseline Review

The Lockheed Martin team developing the next-generation Global Positioning System (GPS) spacecraft, known as GPS III, has successfully completed on-schedule an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) with the U.S. Air Force.

Microspace extends NSS-7 capacity

Microspace, a wholly owned subsidiary of Capitol Broadcasting company, has contracted an additional 5.5 Mbps of capacity on the NSS-7 satellite at the orbital location of 22 degrees West.
