France to provide aid, technology for Vietnamese EO satellite

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has agreed that France would be the provider of technology and official development assistance (ODA) for the Vietnam Resource Environment Disaster Satellite (VNREDSat-1).

Northrop Grumman announces organisation and leadership changes

Northrop Grumman Corporation announced several structural actions which include streamlining the company’s organisational structure, reducing the number of sectors from seven to five.

Orbcomm announces first global AIS distribution agreement

Orbcomm Inc. announced that it has completed a global Automatic Identification System (AIS) distribution agreement for commercial purposes with Lloyd’s Register – Fairplay (LRF).

ICO, Alcatel-Lucent to demo ICO mim’

ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited and Alcatel-Lucent said they will be demonstrating the world’s first fully integrated satellite-terrestrial network being used to deliver mobile video and interactive two-way communications services during the International Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
