SmartSat shortlists two manufacturers for first satellite

SmartSat, a new new UAE-based satellite operator, said its first satellite is now in the design stage while two of the world’s top 10 global satellite manufacturers have already been short listed for the project.

ICO issues response to Ofcom announcement

ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited announced that it “takes strong exception to the press statement by the UK Office of Communications (Ofcom) regarding Ofcom’s intent to write to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) on 17 March to ‘instruct that the ICO-P assignments currently recorded in the ITU Master Register be cancelled’.”
