First H-IIB successfully launches first HTV

Rocket: H-IIB; Payload: H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV); Date: 10 September 2009, 1702 UTC; Site: Tanegashima Space Center, Japan. The launch vehicle flew smoothly, and, at about 15 minutes and 10 seconds after lift-off, the separation of the HTV Demonstration Flight was confirmed.

NASA and ATK test Ares first stage motor

First AEHF satellite enters final testing

The first Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) military communications satellite built by Lockheed Martin for the U.S. Air Force has entered final testing at the company’s Sunnyvale, California/USA facilities.

NPOESS achieves milestone for early spacecraft testing

PerkinElmer to provide RAFS for GPS IIIA
