Arabsat-5A and COMS begin preparation for launch

The two satellites for Arianespace’s second Ariane 5 flight of 2010 have begun their checkout at the Spaceport – which currently is hosting two parallel missions.

Astrium to study defence of Europe’s satellite navigation systems

Astrium GmbH Services has won a EUR1 million contract with the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Supervisory Authority to undertake a key study, which will define the measures needed to defend Europe’s satellite navigation systems and services against radio interference.

COM DEV wins work on multiple satellites

DigitalGlobe said that the elevation data gathered from its latest high-resolution satellite, WorldView-2, has been verified as accurate within 30 centimeters by PhotoSat based on data collected by MWH Geo-Surveys.
