Intelsat 22 replaces Intelsat 21 on Proton flight

International Launch Services announced that an ILS Proton will launch the Intelsat 22 satellite for Intelsat S.A.

Arianespace to launch Hughes’ Jupiter 1

Hughes Network Systems, LLC said it has entered into a Launch Services Agreement with Arianespace for the launch of the company’s next-generation Jupiter satellite.

NASA completes altitude testing of Aerojet LO2/LCH4 engine

Aerojet announced that NASA has successfully completed altitude testing of Aerojet’s advanced 5500-lbf [24.5 kN] Liquid Oxygen (LOX)/Liquid Methane (LCH4) Rocket Engine at NASA’s White Sands Test Facility (WSTF).

SES World Skies officially takes over, renames Protostar II

Aon launches insurance policy for space investors

Aon’s International Space Brokers, the largest specialist risk adviser in the sector, announced the launch of Investment Protection Insurance (IPI), the first policy strictly for investors. It is designed to cover the loss of an investment in a space satellite, launch failure and satellite assets.
