Badr-5 pre-launch details

An International Launch Services Proton M/Briz M rocket is to launch Arabsat’s Badr-5 communications satellite on 3 June, 2200 UTC.

China announces next Beidou launch

China is to launch a fourth Beidou (“Compass”) spacecraft as a part of its indigenous satellite navigation and positioning network.

South Africa’s Q-Kon selects Amos-5 and Amos-5i

Space-Communication announced that Q-Kon, a South Africa-based telecom service provider, has leased long term capacity on the Amos-5i satellite (the former AsiaSat 2) and on its planned successor, the Amos-5 satellite.
