Iridia now continuously monitor space weather

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), with help from Boeing and Iridium, has successfully implemented a new space-based system to monitor Earth’s space environment.

Honeywell completes CDR for GPS components

Honeywell announced that its On Board Computer (OBC), Reaction Wheel Assembly (RWA) and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), which are part of the United States Air Force (USAF) Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) III programme built by Lockheed Martin, have successfully completed Critical Design Reviews (CDRs).

LightSquared triggers cooperation agreement with Inmarsat

LightSquared, formerly known as SkyTerra, announced it has delivered notice to Inmarsat triggering Phase 1 of a cooperation agreement between Inmarsat and LightSquared.
