Quetzsat-1 delivered to Baikonur

SES S.A. and Space Systems/Loral announce that the QuetzSat-1 satellite has safely arrived at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on board an Antonov cargo plane.

NASA’s NPP satellite completes comprehensive testing

The NASA National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) Preparatory Project (NPP) has successfully completed its most comprehensive end-to-end compatibility test of the actual satellite and all five scientific instruments at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp’s production and test facility in Boulder, Colorado.

NASA Selects technology concepts for study under NIAC

NASA has selected 30 proposals for funding under the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts, or NIAC, programme. The advanced concepts selected for study under NIAC were chosen based on their potential to transform future space missions, enable new capabilities or significantly alter current approaches to launching, building and operating space systems.
