Intelsat 19 to be Sea Launched in early 2012

Sea Launch announced it will launch the Intelsat 19 communications satellite in early 2012, the first of up to five missions on the Sea Launch system for Intelsat LLC under a multiple launch services contract.

Japan may launch new spy satellite on 18 September

The Japanese government said it will put a new intelligence satellite into orbit aboard an H-2A rocket on 18 September after postponing the launch twice because of a rocket glitch and a typhoon.

No docking for Dragon?

SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft will conduct a flight near the International Space Station (ISS), but docking between them is not planned, Vladimir Solovyov, head of the Russian segment of the ISS mission control centre was quoted as saying.
