Update: Proton M lifts off with QuetzSat 1

International Launch Services (ILS) successfully carried the QuetzSat-1 satellite into geostationary transfer orbit on an ILS Proton for SES. This was the 19th SES satellite launched on ILS Proton.

Arianespace to launch Mexican satellite Mexsat 3

Mexican government’s communications and transport administration, Secretara de Comunicaciones y Transportes, has awarded a contract to Arianespace to launch the country’s new Mexsat 3 telecommunications satellite.

NASA modifies launch service contract to add Delta II rocket

NASA announced the modification of its NASA Launch Services (NLS) II contract with United Launch Services to add the Delta II rocket launch service in accordance with the contract’s on-ramp provision. The modification will enable United Launch Services to offer as many as five Delta II rockets.
