China set a new launch record in 2011

On 22 December 2011, with the successful launch of the Ziyuan-02C [a.k.a. Zi Yuan 1-02C] satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, China completed all of its launch activities in the year 2011. During this year, China conducted 19 launches in total, including nine GTO missions and 10 LEO missions.
