New Atlas and Delta orders for ULA

United Launch Services was awarded a US$1.516 billion firm-fixed-price contract for five Atlas-V and four Delta IV launches by the U.S. Air Force.

Lockheed Martin to provide GPS III launch and checkout capability

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin a US$21.5 million contract to provide a Launch and Checkout Capability (LCC) to command and control all GPS III satellites from launch through early on-orbit testing.

Boeing begins NASA solar electric propulsion study

Iridium and KVH Team to provide maritime satellite communications service

Iridium Communications Inc. and KVH Industries, Inc., announced an agreement to offer what they called the first-ever, fully global, seamless broadband satellite communications service for the maritime market.
