Delay of the day: Zenit 3SL/Intelsat 21

Following the arrival of the specialised Sea Launch vessels to the launch site in the Pacific Ocean, the Rocket and Space Sea Launch complex started launch processing operations in preparation for the ILV Zenit-3SL launch from the Odyssey Launch Platform.

Medvedev wants fast proposals on how to solve space industry problems

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has given Roskosmos and the government a month to submit proposals on how to improve the agency’s work following a string of launch failures.

Kratos to provide satellite signal monitoring for SS/L

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. announced that its SAT Corporation subsidiary has received a multi-million dollar order to supply its Monics carrier monitoring system and related products to Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) in support of one of its customers that will provide broadband communications services in remote areas. The name of the end-user customer was not disclosed.
