Russia’s Roskosmos space agency is to seek government approval to build the world’s largest rocket, Roskosmos head Oleg Ostapenko was quoted as saying.

GPM pre-launch details

The Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Core Observatory, a joint mission between NASA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), is scheduled to launch on 27 February from Tanegashima Space Center in Japan. The observatory will link data from a constellation of current and planned satellites to produce next-generation global measurements of rainfall and snowfall from space.

RSCC and UK-based Earthly Orbit Communications Limited announced the continued expansion of their co-operation. Earthly Orbit has been successfully promoting and managing RSCC capacity since 2006.
