Ekspress-AM7 delivered to Baikonur

The Ekspress-AM7 satellite was delivered to Baikonur last week. The launch of a Proton-M/Briz-M with the Ekspress-AM7 satellite on board is scheduled for 19 March 2015.

NSR predicts more growth for satellite manufacturing, launching

NSR’s Satellite Manufacturing and Launch Services, 5th Edition, report projects that over 1,800 satellites with a mass of more than 50 kilograms will be ordered and launched over the next decade, generating US$300 billion across global markets. Satellites launched by entirely new commercial and national operators will complement replacement and expansion missions from traditional players, sustaining the market above US$26 billion per year.
