Angara 1.2 enters commercial launch market

International Launch Services is now actively marketing the Angara 1.2 launch vehicle. The Angara 1.2 vehicle will be available for launch in 2017. Launches will be conducted from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Northern Russia. Augmented with the heavy-lift Proton vehicle, ILS now has capability to launch the entire range of satellite masses with both vehicles serving the market.

Arianespace to launch three MTG satellites for EUMETSAT

Immediately after the successful launch of MSG-4, Arianespace and EUMETSAT announced the signature of a contract entrusting Arianespace with the first launch services for the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) series of geostationary satellites.

Arianespace inaugurates new fuelling facility for Soyuz upper stage

Arianespace has inaugurated FCube (Fregat Fuelling Facility), the new building dedicated to fuelling the Fregat upper stage of the Soyuz launch vehicle. Located at the Guiana Space Center, Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, this new facility will give Arianespace greater flexibility in managing its launch manifest, the company said.

Airbus DS selected as prime contractor for Juice
