Soyuz launches two Galileo navsats

Rocket: Soyuz 2-1.b/Fregat; Payload: Galileo 9, Galileo 10; Date: 11 September 2015, 0208 UTC; Launch site: Sinnamary, French Guiana. All Soyuz stages performed as planned, with the Fregat upper stage releasing the satellites into their target orbit around 3 hours and 48 minutes after lift-off.

Airbus DS, TAS prepare the successor to Pleiades

Telekom Austria doubles capacity on Eutelsat 16A

Telekom Austria Group and ANTIK Telekom, the largest regional telco in Slovakia, have selected the Eutelsat 16A satellite of Eutelsat Communications for their new Direct-to-Home platform for the Slovak and Czech market.

ILS announces new president

International Launch Services (ILS) announces the appointment of Kirk Pysher as president. Mr. Pysher will take over leadership from Phil Slack, who served as president of ILS since 2012. Khrunichev State Research and Space Production Center (Khrunichev), the majority owner of ILS, has provided its full endorsement of Mr. Pysher as the new head of ILS.
