Amid U.S. Ex-Im trouble, Azerspace-2 contract goes to SSL

Azerbaijan’s second telecommunications satellite, Azerspace-2, will be built by SSL even though the contract was expected to go to Orbital ATK. The move was reportedly caused by the inability to secure financing through the U.S. Export-Import bank, whose authority has lapsed.

SIS LIVE signs for Eutelsat Broadband’s NewsSpotter SNG service

Broadcast connectivity supplier SIS LIVE has signed a distribution agreement with Eutelsat Broadband (Paris:ETL) to use and resell its NewsSpotter newsgathering service.
