Galileo satellites complete Soyuz fit check

The next two spacecraft to join Europe’s Galileo global satellite navigation system have made their initial contact with launcher hardware at the Spaceport in French Guiana, continuing the preparations for their lift-off on an Arianespace Soyuz vehicle in May.

Preparations for first Vostochny launch continue

Roskosmos specialists have begun to assemble the nose section of integrated launch vehicle Soyuz-2.1a at Vostochny cosmodrome. The nose section will consist of the Volga upper stage and three spacecraft – Lomonosov, Aist-2D and Samsat-218.

Russia wins case over Yukos-related seizure of US$700 million in France
