Launch of small satellite constellation targeted Wednesday

NASA is rescheduling the launch of its Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) spacecraft for no earlier than Wednesday, 14 December from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, during a one-hour window that opens at 1320 UTC.

HTV6 arrives at space station

The H-II Transfer Vehicle “KOUNOTORI6” (HTV6) started its final approach to the International Space Station (ISS), and was captured by the ISS robotic arm at 1039 UTC on 13 December.

USAF approves GPS ground control system upgrade

The U.S. Air Force approved Lockheed Martin’s design to upgrade the current GPS satellite ground control system with new capabilities that will enable it to operate GPS III satellites.
