Preparations for last Ariane 5 launch in 2016

Final integration has begun for Arianespace’s year-ending Ariane 5 mission as the Star One D1 and JCSAT-15 satellites are installed on the heavy-lift launcher for lift-off from the Spaceport in French Guiana on 21 December.

TAS Spain delivers 2nd panel for GEO-KOMPSAT-2 comms payload

Thales Alenia Space Spain has delivered the second of three panels used to mount the Observation Data Communication Subsystem (ODCS) on GEO-KOMPSAT-2 satellites being built by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).

TAS to supply subassembly for EPS-SG ground system

EUMETSAT, the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites, has chosen Thales Alenia Space to provide a key subassembly in the ground segment for the Eumetsat Polar System – Second Generation (EPS-SG), comprising data acquisition, processing and product generation for the polar-orbit meteorological satellites Metop SG-A et Metop SG-B.
