Falcon 9 launches Intelsat 35e in third attempt

Rocket: Falcon 9; Payload: Intelsat 35e; Date: 5 July 2017, 2338 UTC; Launch site: Kennedy Space Center, USA. The satellite separated from the rocket’s upper stage 32 minutes after launch, and signal acquisition has been confirmed.

SSL to provide new imaging satellite constellation to DigitalGlobe

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. announced that its subsidiary Space Systems Loral (SSL) was selected to provide a next-generation satellite constellation for high-resolution Earth imaging to DigitalGlobe.

Thales Alenia Space carries out final BepiColombo tests

Aerojet Rocketdyne tests advanced electric propulsion

Aerojet Rocketdyne, Inc. successfully conducted a series of hot-fire tests on a Power Processing Unit (PPU) for an Advanced Electric Propulsion System (AEPS). The tests were conducted at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
