Khrunichev successfully conducts test of Angara 1.2 service module

The propulsion system of the light-weight Angara 1.2 Launch Vehicle Service Module, manufactured by the Khrunichev Space Center (part of Roskosmos State Corporation), completed successful hot-fire testing at the Federal State Enterprise “Rocket & Space Industry Research & Test Center” (RSI RTC) test facility (Peresvet, Moscow Region).

Four O3b satellites arrive in Kourou ahead of March launch

Airbus selected by ESA for EGNOS V3 programme

Airbus has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) as the prime contractor to develop EGNOS V3, the next generation of the European Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) planned to provide the aviation community with advanced Safety of Life services and new services to Maritime and Land users.

Sierra Nevada’s STPSat-5 completes ground compatibility testing

Sierra Nevada’s Space Test Program Mission 5 (STPSat-5) satellite has moved another step closer to launch, successfully completing its Factory Compatibility Test (FCT) with NASA’s Near-Earth Network and the NASA Ames Multi-Mission Operations Center.

OmniAccess to begin testing on Telesat’s Phase 1 LEO satellite

Telesat and OmniAccess, a supplier of integrated communications solutions to superyachts and cruise ships, announced that OmniAccess will be co-operating in live, over-the-air trials on Telesat’s low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite system.
