Flight VS21 / Soyuz – OneWeb F6: New launch date

Based on the positive results of analyses performed with Russian space authorities responsible for a Soyuz launch performed from Baikonur Cosmodrome on 21 February 2019, Arianespace has taken the decision to resume preparations for its Flight VS21 OneWeb F6 mission at the Guiana Space Center.

Next PSLV targets three different orbits

India’s PSLV-C45, currently scheduled for launch on 21 March, is to put 30 satellites, including one for electronic intelligence, in three different orbits.

After a reset, Curiosity is operating normally

A hiccup during boot-up recently interrupted NASA’s Curiosity rover’s planned activities and triggered a protective safe mode. The rover was brought out of this mode on 19 February and is otherwise operating normally, having successfully booted up over 30 times without further issues.

Firefly announces mass production facility, Cape Canaveral launch site

Firefly Aerospace, Inc., a provider of launch vehicles, spacecraft and in-space services, announced the execution of a binding term sheet with Space Florida, under which Firefly will establish business operations at Cape Canaveral Spaceport, including launch operations at Space Launch Complex 20 and manufacturing facilities at Exploration Park, Florida.

Prelaunch processing of Egyptsat-A satellite

The prelaunch processing of the integrated launch vehicle with the Egyptsat-A satellite has begun at Baikonur Cosmodrome. The Soyuz-2 launch vehicle with Fregat upper stage was installed on the launch pad at Site 31 of Baikonur Cosmodrome.
