Radarsat Constellation Mission finally launched

Rocket: Falcon 9; Payload: Radarsat Constellation Mission [RCM]; Date: 12 June 2019, 1417 UTC; Launch site: Vandenberg Air Force Base, USA. The three Radarsat satellites deployed approximately 54 minutes after launch.

Twin satellites to study signal disruption from space

NASA’s twin E-TBEx CubeSats – short for Enhanced Tandem Beacon Experiment – are scheduled to launch in June 2019 aboard the Department of Defense’s Space Test Program-2 launch. The launch includes a total of 24 satellites from government and research institutions. They will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

LockMart updates GPS ground control system

Lockheed Martin has delivered the GPS III Contingency Operations (COps) software upgrade to the U.S. Air Force’s current GPS ground control system. The upgrade will enable the Air Force to start commanding the new, next-generation GPS III satellites now coming off the production line and beginning to launch.

Relativity to build new autonomous rocket factory

Relativity announced that it has secured an agreement with NASA and an incentive package from the Mississippi Development Authority to expand facilities and infrastructure at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi.
