The Washington D.C.-based Arthur C. Clarke Foundation has honoured Giuliano Berretta, Chairman of the Board of Eutelsat Communications, as the 2010 winner of the “Arthur C. Clarke Lifetime Achievement Award.”

The final astronaut visit to NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope (HST) in May 2009 was the most difficult, and its success equipped the telescope with the systems and scientific instruments that will allow it to continue its magnificent exploration of the universe well into the next decade. The Space Foundation recognised the team that put together that mission and carried it out with their 2010 Space Achievement Award.
