GMV awarded contract by Raytheon for ISRO’s GAGAN programme

GMV has been awarded a contract with Raytheon Company to develop a prototype algorithm for the detection of ionospheric depletions in the magnetic equatorial region that may be utilised in the user receiver data processing for the space-based augmentation system for the GAGAN programme operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Wearable antenna developed with ESA’s help

Through the ESA Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) 5 project ‘Textile Antennas’, the Finnish Patria Aviation Oy company has demonstrated that an antenna can be built using textiles that can be worn and used for personal satellite communication.
