IBM announced that it would build a satellite-based network to collect data from farms in Utah on the body temperature of cattle. They will co-operate with a local company to enable the Utah government to take preventative measures against livestock diseases.

This event, to be held in Washington, D.C., USA, on 19 September, will discuss U.S. Satellite Export Controls and will be based around two panel discussions.
