Search for MGS continues, now with European help

Attempts to receive a signal from Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) using NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity have so far been unsuccessful. Meanwhile, ESA has agreed to use its Mars Express to help find MGS.
