Additional Mexican orders for Gilat VSATs

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. announced it has been selected by Integradores de Tecnologia to provide a 4,382-site SkyEdge VSAT network serving more than 9,600 Mexican public-school classrooms, to support the “middle-school” phase of the Mexican Ministry of Education’s (SEP) Enciclomedia programme. The deployment of the network hub and terminals has already begun.

More basketball on Intelsat

Intelsat announced that it has renewed and expanded its agreement with the U.S. National Basketball Association (NBA) for international distribution of the league’s games.
