Astro takes five Measat-3 transponders

Measat Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd has signed an interim transponder lease agreement with Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (Astro) for initial Ku-Band transponder capacity on the recently launched Measat-3 satellite.

Boeing tests new GPS ground station

Boeing said it successfully completed a live demonstration of the Global Positioning System (GPS) ground station, which, when fully operational, will control the 32 GPS satellites now in orbit as well as those that will join the fleet in the coming months.
