Galileo effectively put on ice: companies ‘just not working’

The European Commission said it was concerned over big delays and cost overruns facing Europe’s planned satellite-navigation system Galileo. The companies involved have practically stopped working on the project because of questions over the project’s profitability, the Financial Times reported.
