News Corp. shareholders approve deal with Liberty

Shareholders of News Corp. have approved a deal to swap the company’s stake in DirecTV Group Inc. with Liberty Media Corp. in exchange for US$550 million in cash and Liberty’s roughly US$11 billion stake in News Corp.

AAS to upgrade Globalstar satellite operations and control centre

Next Zenit-3SL launch planned for October

Sea Launch said significant progress has been made in the investigation into the cause of the unsuccessful Zenit-3SL launch on 30 January and repairs to the Odyssey Launch Platform. The company said it plans to return to flight in October.
