EMS to provide RF power distribution networks for Globalstar II

Alcatel Alenia Space has awarded EMS Technologies, Inc. a contract valued at more than US$5 million to supply RF transmitter power-combining assemblies for the communications payload of Globalstar II.

Hotbird 2 apparently not damaged

Eutelsat Communications said that the recent Hotbird 2 anomaly was caused by a solar flare fallout, which however does not appear to have damaged the satellite permanently.

Soyuz TMA-10 launched, docked with ISS

Rocket: Soyuz FG; Payload: Soyuz TMA-10; Date: 7 April 2007, 1731 UTC; Launch Site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The manned transport spacecraft was successfully placed on the target orbit for another mission to the International Space Station.
