Libya jammed Thuraya phone satellite, report

Libya last year reportedly jammed the Thuraya satellite system in order in order to make it harder for criminals to use satellite phones. They inadvertently compromised the whole system to such an extent that it even affected Thuraya’s 2006 revenues, according to Space News.
