Shop Latino TV has signed a multi-year agreement for programme distribution into the North American cable market through Intelsat’s Galaxy neighbourhood.

NASA will test one of the rocket engines it is developing for its new launch vehicles at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, USA. The agency will build a new test stand at Stennis for the J-2X engine. The engine will power the upper stages of NASA’s Ares I and Ares V rockets.

NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander was delivered by its builder Lockheed Martin to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on 7 May. The vehicle will undergo three more months of testing and integration in preparation for its launch on a Delta II launch vehicle in early August.

SES Americom has ordered a replacement satellite, AMC-5R, plus a ground spare with an option to add up to three more spacecraft per its contract with Orbital Sciences Corporation.
