TerreStar-1 launch delayed 10 months

TerreStar Networks Inc., a majority owned subsidiary of Motient Corporation (MNCP), announced that they have been notified by Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) that delivery of its satellite, TerreStar-1, is expected to be August 2008.

Globalstar replenishment launch successful

Rocket: Soyuz-FG/Fregat; Payload: four Globalstar satellites; Date: 29 May 2007, 2031 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Launch service provider Starsem confirmed that the Fregat upper stage accurately injected the four satellite dispenser into the targeted circular low Earth orbit of 920 km x 52 degrees at 2218 UTC.
