Another secretive Chinese satellite launch

Rocket: Chang Zheng 4C; Payload: Yaogan Weixing-17; Date: 1 September 2013, 1916 UTC; Launch site: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China. According to Chinese media, “the satellite is in preset orbit.”

Synchronisation problem caused Epsilon launch delay

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) said that the Epsilon-1 launch delay was caused by a computer glitch. The rocket was scheduled for launch from the Uchinoura Space Center on 27 August.

Galileo’s secure service tested by EU Member States
