Astrix fibre optic gyro to fly on NASA JPL / CNES mission

Airbus Defence and Space will supply its highest-precision fibre Optic Gyro Unit (FOG) for a mission led by the U.S., French, Canadian, and United Kingdom Space agencies, NASA, CNES, CSA, and UKSA, that will launch in 2020 to study Earth’s surface water.

Galileo satellites complete Soyuz fit check

Preparations for first Vostochny launch continue

Roskosmos specialists have begun to assemble the nose section of integrated launch vehicle Soyuz-2.1a at Vostochny cosmodrome. The nose section will consist of the Volga upper stage and three spacecraft – Lomonosov, Aist-2D and Samsat-218.

Russia wins case over Yukos-related seizure of US$700 million in France
