DirecTV, EchoStar drop out of AWS auction

PMWireless DBS, a joint venture of direct-broadcast satellite providers DirecTV and EchoStar Communications, practically pulled out of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) advanced-wireless-services auction.
