On 18 April 2015, ISS-Reshetnev Company celebrates 15 years since the launch of the geostationary telecommunications satellite Sesat, developed and built for Eutelsat.

Orbital ATK, Inc. announced that yesterday marked the 25th anniversary of the first flight of its Pegasus air-launched rocket. The world’s first all-new privately-developed space launch vehicle, Pegasus was developed in the late 1980’s in a joint venture between Orbital Sciences Corporation and Hercules Aerospace Company, a predecessor to ATK Inc., and was first launched on 5 April 1990.

Having orbited Earth more than 5,300 times while providing radar vision for Europe’s Copernicus programme, the Sentinel-1A satellite has completed a successful first year. The satellite carries an advanced radar to provide an all-weather, day-and-night supply of images of Earth’s surface.

15 years ago, on 12 March 2000, the Ekspress-A2 [a.k.a. Ekspress-6A] telecommunications satellite designed and manufactured by ISS-Reshetnev Company was launched.

To date, the Gonets-D1 #14 satellite, developed and built by ISS-Reshetnev Company, has been operating in orbit 12 times longer than initially anticipated.

On 3 February 2005, the first satellite based on a Spacebus 4000 platform by Thales Alenia Space, the AMC-12, now renamed SES 10, was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan by a Proton rocket.

Orbital Sciences Corporation congratulated NASA and the Swift satellite team on the recent 10th anniversary of the astrophysics spacecraft’s launch and successful operation.

ESA’s Proba-2 has celebrated five years in orbit. The second PRoject for OnBoard Autonomy mission was launched in 2009 as part of ESA’s programme for proving new technology in space.
