The U.S. Department of Defense will pay Lockheed Martin and Boeing most of the cost they incurred in creating their United Launch Alliance joint venture.

China Satellite Communications Corporation (China Satcom) is permitted to merge into China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) and become the latter’s wholly-owned subsidiary, the state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council announced.
