COM DEV International Ltd. announced its third quarter financial results for the three-month period ending 31 July 2008.

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. announced that it has notified the consortium of buyers that had agreed to purchase the company that it was terminating the agreement and plan of merger entered into on 31 March 2008. The buyers strongly denied Gilat’s allegations they had breached the agreement.

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. said a group of private investors that in March 2008 agreed to buy the company said they would not close the deal at the agreed upon price of US$475 million. The company also reported its results for the second quarter ending 30 June 2008.

Sky Perfect JSAT has formed a joint venture with Stratos, which is set to be acquired by Inmarsat, to provide mobile satellite services to Japan and then possibly to other Asian countries.
