JSAT plans to acquire Space Communications

Communications satellite-based television broadcaster Sky Perfect JSAT Corp. is in the final stage of talks on acquiring smaller satellite operator Space Communications Corp. controlled by the Mitsubishi group, Jiji Press reported.

COM DEV buys L-3 ETI’s Passive Microwave Devices product line

COM DEV USA, LLC, a subsidiary of COM DEV International Ltd. , announced that it has reached an agreement with L-3 Communications to acquire the Passive Microwave Devices product line of L-3 Communications Electron Technologies Inc. for US$12.2 million.

OHB Technology earnings in 2007 likely more than expected

EchoStar, Harbinger invest in TerreStar

TerreStar Corporation and its subsidiary TerreStar Networks Inc. announced that EchoStar Corporation, Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I, Ltd. and Harbinger Capital Partners Special Situations Fund LP and other investors have entered into a series of separate agreements constituting a commitment of US$300 million in investments in TerreStar – with US$200 million made available today and the balance dedicated to funding the TerreStar-2 satellite.
