Orbimage Holdings Inc. , which does business under the name GeoEye, announced that The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC has approved its application to list its securities on The Nasdaq Global Market.

Globecomm Systems Inc. announced financial results for the fiscal 2006 fourth quarter and fiscal year ended 30 June 2006.

Globecomm Systems said that it entered into a five-year agreement with a major US-based media production and distribution company in the United States valued at US$22 million.

The planned sale of Lockheed Martin’s stake in International Launch Services (ILS) came as a surprise to most observers but, according to Kommersant daily, was caused by Proton manufacturer “Khrunichev’s decision to raise the price of the rockets by 15 percent, to US$45-50 million each, to pay for the services of an intermediary to conclude contracts with ILS.”

Lockheed Martin announced the proposed sale of its ownership interests in Lockheed Khrunichev Energia International, Inc. (LKEI) and ILS International Launch Services, Inc. (ILS) to Space Transport Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Several members of the Lockheed Martin led team that won NASA’s Orion contract issued statements describing their roles in the project.

The U.S. Air Force will withhold 2006 programme award fees from Boeing after cost overruns and production delays on the GPS IIF programme, the Wall Street Journal reported.
