SSC and KARI sign contract for S-band service

The Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) have signed a contract for SSC to provide S-band ranging service to KARI for the satellite mission COMS-1 (Communications, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite).

South Africa’s Q-Kon selects Amos-5 and Amos-5i

Space-Communication announced that Q-Kon, a South Africa-based telecom service provider, has leased long term capacity on the Amos-5i satellite (the former AsiaSat 2) and on its planned successor, the Amos-5 satellite.

Hayabusa on track for landing in two weeks

Vietnamese company launches new DTH platform on NSS-6

SES World Skies announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Audio Visual Company JSC (AVG), a joint stock company of An Vien Group, to provide transponder capacity on the NSS-6 satellite for their new direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service in Vietnam.

Amos satellites add fourth DTH platform
