Iraqi insurgents have reportedly managed to capture video streams sent by U.S. drones, using no more than a standard satellite dish and cheap computer software.

Iridium Communications Inc. has awarded a contract to Integral Systems, Inc.’s subsidiary, RT Logic, for the development of a software-defined modem (SDM) for the new feeder link terminals (FLT) to be deployed at Iridium ground stations.
